Pembelajaran TOEFL sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru di MGMP Kabupaten Muara Enim

In Indonesia, TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) learning has become crucial in enhancing proficiency, particularly for language teachers across various regions. Proficiency the serves key factor meeting educational quality standards. Therefore, training necessary endeavor to support teachers' mastery and elevate instruction pursuit standardized schools. This community engagement aims provide an effort enhance proficiency among Kabupaten Muara Enim, South Sumatra. The was conducted online via Zoom Conference application, with total 77 teacher participants. curriculum encompassed fundamental skills, including Listening, Structure Written Expression, Reading. process involved several stages, pre-test assessments, presentations, discussions, mentoring, post-test evaluations. results demonstrated noticeable improvement scores teachers. average initial score 426, lowest at 286 highest 536. After training, final increased 432, 296 557. Although changes were not statistically significant, they indicate enhancement understanding proved effective elevating comprehension Enim. delivery materials interactions resource persons positively contributed proficiency. It is recommended conduct follow-up activities assess application acquired knowledge after training. Such initiatives are expected further positive impact on pedagogical practices. Moreover, similar could be extended provincial level, involving larger number teachers, thus fostering improvements education sector within region.
